Groups & Experiences
Some things are learned in relationship.
Groups make room for connection, challenge, and real practice alongside other adults doing the same work. Two kinds live here — clinical groups and separate experiential programs — and the difference matters.
Category One · Clinical
Clinical group psychotherapy
Clinical group psychotherapy is a mental health service. Participation may require clinical assessment, determination of appropriateness, medical necessity, treatment planning, and insurance eligibility when insurance is used.
Being witnessed is different from being understood. Group is where you practice presence, honesty, and courage with real stakes and real support.
Current group schedules, formats, eligibility, and fees: contact the practice for up-to-date details.

Category Two · Nonclinical, Self-Pay
Enter the Cave
One movement: from avoidance toward courageous action. Breath, movement, supervised cold exposure, fire, reflection, community — practice, not spectacle.
Enter the Cave and other nonclinical experiential programs are separate self-pay educational or personal-growth experiences. They are not psychotherapy and are not insurance-covered mental health treatment.

Inside the experience
Optional experiential practice: breathwork and cold immersion
Some experiences include guided breathwork and optional, coached cold immersion — a controlled place to practice staying present and regulating your response when discomfort arrives.
Cold immersion is always optional, screened, and never required for individual therapy. It is not appropriate for everyone — if you have a cardiac, respiratory, or pregnancy-related concern, check with your physician first.
Cold immersion, breathwork, and Reset experiences are self-pay educational or personal-growth experiences. They are not psychotherapy and are not covered by insurance.

A clear line between the two
Clinical groups are mental health services provided by Bill Wilder, LCMHC, and may qualify for insurance when clinical and payer requirements are met. Experiential offerings — Enter the Cave, the Reset, and cold immersion — are educational, self-pay experiences. They complement individual therapy; they don’t replace it.
Not sure which fits? Send a message and Bill will help you determine the most appropriate next step.

You don’t have to know exactly what kind of help you need.
Tell Bill what is happening and what you want to change. He will help you identify an appropriate first step.
